Yorkshire Book Club - January 10th Meeting in Harrogate
« on: December 30, 2008, 10:16:14 AM »
Hello all,

I'll save swelch2 the trouble and post this reminder that the next book club meeting will be on Jan 10th (Saturday) in Harrogate at Cafe Milan (aka Milan's Coffee House, which no one actually calls it) around 2pm.  Our book this month is Anne Bronte's The Tenant of Wildfell Hall in honor of her birthday (Jan 17th).  Come one, come all, for good coffee, yummy pastries, and lots of laughs.  The cafe is a 3 minute walk from the Harrogate train station. http://www.myspace.com/milanscoffeehouse is its website.

Of course, I read the book way back in November when I got it and now I forget what it's all about, so I'll have to go and reread it.

THANK YOU!!  I have been meaning to post this and keep forgetting...I also posted on the LJ blog the web address for the Yorkshire Yanks blog!  http://yorkshireyanks.wordpress.com/

There ya go!  I have put some information up already on there....I am also off on that Saturday so if anyone would prefer to meet earlier than 2, I am up for it!

Ok ladies, just trying to get an estimate of how many people will be joining us this time round :)

Also, E and I were at Milan's this past Saturday and they kicked us out at 4:30 again :(  Would you be opposed to meeting at 1 instead of 2?  Let me know!

See yall soon!!!
