Newbie fishing for some support!
« on: April 07, 2016, 09:14:26 PM »
Thank you for the warm welcome UK-Yankee community!

I have been stalking this site for months while gathering the supporting documents to apply for my settlement visa, which I am currently waiting on a decision to be made  :-\\\\ .. terrified to say the least.

My husband is English and I am very much American. We are unsure of how long we want to stay in the UK just want to be in the same zipcode for longer than 3 months for once in our 6 year relationship!

So glad I have a community of people who are understanding and going through a similar process that I can talk to! And am very appreciative of all of the posts that helped me in my application process.

Welcome!!

I don't think I would have got my fiancee visa if it weren't for help from this forum. They make everything so confusing, it was a such a relief to find a place where people have gone through the same processes as me and not only understand the visa application, but how I am feeling through it all too.

Best of luck to you and I hope you get your answer soon!!
