Job Search in UK
« on: May 10, 2016, 03:09:49 PM »
Hello All!

I just last week moved to London after having my spousal visa approved and am now looking for available positions. I have an associates degree in General Studies, and my experience/passion largely lies in working with adults and children with special needs. I have done direct care in a residential program for adults, I have worked in a school system as an aid, and recently I worked in family supports for adolescents with Autism.

Just wondering what the best resource is to search  for these kind of jobs? I looked at the 'third-sector' website and it seemed like there are mostly administrative and managerial positions of which I don't think I qualify.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,
Sam.

Hi Sam - have you thought about signing up with a recruiter? They may be able to advise you also if you need any extra qualifications here for the sector you're looking into.
