Employer letter
« on: June 30, 2016, 04:32:11 PM »
i got my employee letter yesterday. It has everything on it, how much I make, when my current pay starts, it also states that it's a fixed contract and gives the end date of my application. Does this make any difference to immigration? Or will it be a problem for future income and maintenance?
Thanks for the advice
Lynn

I just saw this post of yours and noticed no one had replied yet.

Your employer letter for FLR(M) needs to state:
- how long you have been working there
- your current salary
- how long you have been earning your current salary
- type of employment (i.e. full/part-time, temporary or permanent)

I'm not sure if the fixed contract will make a difference for the visa. Do you have any official paperwork confirming that your job will continue or the contract will be renewed after the end of your current visa?

Also, your employer letter should be dated no more than 30 days before your visa application date - you mention in another post that you will be applying for your visa on Sept 9th... which means you will need to get a new employer letter, dated no earlier than 10th August 2016.
