Want to Move to UK Job Suggestions--

Re teaching - have you considered becoming a Kindermusik Educator.  If you aren't aware - Kindermusik is the largest music education programme for the under 7's in the US - and world.  It can provide a good income whilst being flexible around kids etc.  Not sure about work permit implication however.
