Why do you want an American husband?

I've got one that is both British and American, the acquisition of American citizenship didn't make him any different - what were you hoping for?

I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC

I'm sure there are a few women on this board willing to give theirs away to the highest bidder.   :P

Just my opinion...  my two most loathed accents are Irish and Australian (ducks as people throw things).  I'm currently listening to an audio book that is read by an Australian.  Some words are like nails on a blackboard!

Don't worry, I feel the same! The way it seems most Australians end their sentences on a high (like a question, even when it's not) drives me mad. You have more patience because I would've given up and just read the book myself!

I'm not a big fan of most Australian accents either! Particularly those that sounds like Claire from Lost/Belle from Once upon a time. Drives me crazy.
