So we made it to the UK, and once I have proof of address, I was planning to open Roth IRAs at Charles Schwab UK.  Today I read this online, any idea if Charles Schwab will keep taking on US citizens in the UK?

Yes they do.  All their accounts are domiciled in the US.  Would have opened them in the US but we were in Canada before.
