Nearby Wiltshire M4 area
« on: September 06, 2016, 08:54:09 PM »
I'm currently looking for a place for rent nearby Wiltshire area but easily accessible to the M4.  Does anyone have a suggestions for a good area (e.g. child friendly, safe, etc)?

Marlborough is nice, as is Wotton Bassett. Not to sure about other places.

Thanks for your response.

I've been narrowing down some more and draw up with some limitations...
It should be accessible to M4 (as stated previously),
and to have public transport access and commutable to Oxford.

This seems to narrow down to borders between Wiltshire-Berkshire-Oxfordshire region and that doesn't seem to come up with too many places. Am I getting the right idea?

Any suggestions would help. Thanks!

Just a word of warning regarding traffic and Oxford - I have colleagues who work in Wiltshire and live in Oxford and after a night shift, what should only be a 40-minute drive back to Oxford can take up to 2.5 hours in the morning! Most of them sleep at work for a couple of hours and then drive back late morning to miss the rush hour traffic
