Sheffield premium appointment
« on: October 11, 2016, 07:23:05 AM »
Hi all,
Tomorrow is my in person appointment and needless to say I am very nervous about the whole thing. I am wondering if anyone who has been to Sheffield can tell me a bit about what they were like. What floor is the office on? How intenses is security? As I am not sure about what will happen with husbands wheel chair.

Thanks,

Lynn

Hi Lynn - I have a premium appointment in Sheffield last April. I wrote about it here: http://talk.uk-yankee.com/index.php?topic=87622

The room is just on the ground floor, to your left as you walk in through security. You don't have anything to worry about when it comes to your husband's wheelchair.

Everybody was really nice, from the security guys to the woman who called me up to get my paperwork and tried to make me feel at ease when I was a nervous wreck!

BriKH,

You were right everyone was super nice.  Like you I was nervous wreck. And it did. To help that we were waiting for about 2 and a half hours, watching people that had come in after us get their results and leave. I was figiting by the time I saw my binder being handed to the lady at the counter.  I almost hated to go up and get my results. But it was good news and we got approved.  It was funny I had this binder with everything separated into sections and the lady was like wow you are super organized. And loved that everything was labeled and tagged so they could get right to each section.  They took all the copies of everything and only took out 4 of the 12 pieces of mail I had put in just thought that was unexpected. Now I have got my letter and am waiting for the BRP cards to get here so I can feel official.
