Paying priority

I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find it anywhere. When do I pay for priority. During the online application, after,  or the same day I send the documents?

Priority processing is purchased separately from the online application - you do it on the VFS Global website.

I believe you can purchase it whenever, as long as it's before you mail the application (it used to be that you had to purchase it on the day you mailed the documents, but that isn't the case anymore).
