Yep, that's the correct information - it should tell you to apply online and that It costs £189.

See:

Here's the guidance about transferring the visa:

We had a very straight forward flat buying, first time buyers, no chain, no one backed out, and it still took 3 months 3 weeks from the offer being accepted to completion.  We were told several times by the estate agent, solicitors, and building manager that was nearly a record.  We were lucky, the previous buyer backed out and it came back on the market right as we were looking!  The flat we were renting, we bought because our landlord was selling, was on the market for over 7 months before it received a viable offer.  It'll still probably take another 2 - 3 minimum to complete on it even though it's vacant and has no onward chain.

If your husband has no offer on his flat yet, never mind a date of exchange or completion, I'd seriously consider moving without your animals if you can, sorting through the housing situation and jobs, and moving them over at a later date.  We had to do this when I first moved.  The move and finding a flat and job was so stressful on me I missed my cat's paperwork date.  I moved over to stay on my visa track, kitty stay with my mother and moved over a few months later once everything had calmed down.

Hi,

I know your situation was a few months ago, however I am in a very similar situation right now and wondering if you were able to do the vignette transfer and if so, how do they determine the new date window to travel? I've got two pets and a house over here and timing everything perfectly is very stressful, especially because the dogs can't fly between Jun 1 - Sept 30th from Florida due to airline regulations so if we don't get an approval before then (we're sending our paperwork in now for a May 21st travel date) then we will not be able to leave until Oct 1.

Thanks!

Hi there. Wow , we do have a similar situation. Good luck to you!

I have to tell you, they didn't take note of my requested entry dates. I requested between January 1 and February 1. I noted this on the application and the cover letter. They gave me November 2 to December 2. So it was a scramble.

I entered the country to meet the entry requirement. BRP was not there. Turns out (after countless emails and endless frustration) they never sent a new BRP to match my vignette transfer. So I would advise if you do the vignette transfer , be aware the BRP may not be there when you arrive and you may have a 2-4 week delay. Try not to leave the country before that (I did and it was completely fine, despite what the home office says. But they say don't do it. )

If you really want a specific date , highlight it on your cover letter. Put it in bold print. And cross your fingers. It didn't seem to have much rhyme or reason , as when I got my new vignette almost half my time allotted to enter the country was gone.

Let me know if I can assist further ! Where in Florida are you leaving from ?
