Payslips for fiancé visa
« on: February 21, 2017, 08:33:37 AM »
Hi all,

My fiancé and I are in the process of pulling together documents for our initial fiancé visa application - but I have a question about the payslips I need to provide.

My work doesn't issue paper payslips, they're sent monthly on an electronic platform. So I'm printing them and sending the printouts with the application.

Does anyone have any experience with submitting printed electronic payslips? Or would it be safer to get my employer's HR department to authenticate them?

Thanks

I'm assuming you are the UK sponsor?

Printed electronic payslips are not acceptable on their own. They must also be accompanied by a letter from HR confirming their authenticity.

Alternatively, you could see if HR will print official copies of the payslips for you.

From Appendix FM-SE:

(bb) Payslips must be:

(i) original formal payslips issued by the employer and showing the employer’s name; or

(ii) accompanied by a letter from the employer, on the employer’s headed paper and signed by a senior official, confirming the payslips are authentic;
