I know that on my spouse visa I can work but it doesn't say that I may work on my BRP, it only says what I can't do (receive public funds). I FINALLY got an interview (yay yay yay only my second one in 3 months here) and they have asked me to bring Evidence of right to work in the UK, with a list attached to the email.
The first category in the list is like, unlimited time to remain and work here (citizenship or ILR etc). The second one is 'Documents that provide time-limited right to work in the UK' and lists
'A current Biometric Immigration Document (Biometric Residence Permit) issued by
the Home Office to the holder which indicates that the named person can currently
stay in the UK and is allowed to do the work in question.'
Even though my BRP doesn't say work permitted, is that enough? Or is there a printout from the home office website I can bring that confirms I can definitely work? I'd really like this job and have the exact experience and qualifications they asked for (and this is a competitive area for jobs) so I'd hate for immigration things to provide any bumps.
