May timeline spouse visa
« on: May 29, 2017, 09:13:35 AM »
Hi everyone ❤️
I'm new here wanted to share my spouse visa experience with all of u
I'm the applicant from Tunisia married to British citizen since February 2017
We choose the priority spouse visa
We applied online 26 may 2017
The biometric appointment will be 31 may in two days
The lawyer will send the whole file to Sheffield after  mytye biometric appointment and he said it will take minimum two weeks for the result or maybe more
Was stressed about preparing the file because there was tooo much papers to provide for the visa and now stressed again about the result
I hope to share all the may timeline here to support each other
Thanks

Hi Souzane-muz, welcome.  :)

Unfortunately, I think your lawyer was a little optimistic with his estimate.
There is a handy processing time checker on the .gov website which gives times for applications from Tunisia as of February as follows.

Most applications are processed within 90 days.
Number of days to process  5days,10days,15days,30days,60days,90days,120days
% of applications decided    6%       20%    30%    74%       88%     97%       97%

Unfortunately as the year goes on, they slow considerably. (based on experience with applications from the US, it may not be the same for those from Tunisia) but I think even with priority, you'll be looking in terms of  months rather than weeks.  The stats refer to working days.

Good luck with your application.  :)

I saw some us applicants got their priority visa in two weeks or 12 days and some of them 23 days
About Tunisian applicant my friend got her priority spouse visa in 15 days aswell
So my lawyer can be true and already no too much applicant from tunsia its like 16 per year

Cant speak to Tunisia but the U.S. priority apps are taking much longer at the moment. People from the beginning of April haven't heard yet. Of course we hope it's faster for you but based on Facebook timelines I wouldn't want you to get your hopes up.
Spouse Visa:
Received by Sheffield 19 Nov 2016
Decision Made 26 Jan 2017
Visa Received 30 Jan 2017
Arrived in UK 15 Feb 2017
FLR (M) Biometrics 16 Sep 2019
FLR (M) Approved 17 Sep 2019 (Super Priority)

I hope you have a quick result like your friend and at least we can keep you company while you're waiting. Good luck with your application!  :)
