Just finished up my masters of architecture and I'm planning to move to London by the summer! Now that I'm not a student, it seems the only way I'll be moving is if I have a sponsorship from a UK company (apparently architects are on the shortage occupation list and I am able to get a Tier 2 visa this way). My best guy friend is also planning to move with me, but is in the same boat; he's an architect as well. I realize RIBA and NAAB are different, but I'm hoping to find an entry level position or ant position that I could be hired for.
Is anyone here an architect or work at a design firm that sponsors or is hiring?
Any help would be appreciated, I'm trying not to feel discouraged, but it seems I'm at a bit of a disadvantage here!
