I am sooo jealous of everyone who lives near a big hub and can take advantage of these low prices.  My home airport is tiny so there's only a couple of airlines and it requires a connection.   :-\\\\

Me too. It's a short flight to AZ or Dallas for me and then Heathrow. Have to have one layover.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

I'm so excited about this Thomas Cook thing! It will mean more ground transportation once I get to the UK, but it sounds worth it.

24 minutes from Akron to Detroit then onwards to Heathrow is my favorite.

My sister and her family (6 of them) are currently on a Thomas Cook flight from Orlando to Glasgow to visit me.

They live in rural Mississippi so they opted to drive to Orlando and get a flight there. It was the only way they would be able to afford this trip.

And I'm thinking it is going to be hilarious... pure Mississippi rednecks invading Scotland. No one will be able to understand anything anyone says. Lmfao
