As per the document list above, he'll need to provide a letter from the army confirming his salary and length of service (and the other details mentioned above)
Also when going to the biometrics appointment we do not need to do any sort of interview correct?
Nope, biometrics are taken by US immigration on behalf of UKVI, so they are just there to take your fingerprints and photo... they have nothing to do with your application and don't even care what type of visa you are applying for.
The appointment only takes 5-10 minutes and all that will happen is:
- they will check your ID and appointment confirmation sheet
- they will stamp the sheet
- they will take your fingerprints and photo
- you go home
You shouldn't need your printed application form, but someone was told they had to show it for their appointment, so it's worth taking it with you.
