Canada to Manchester in a few weeks :)

Let me start of by saying I'm not American, but looking for a community of like minded folks - hope no one minds

I'm sitting in Canada atm waiting for my spouse visa to be approved. *fingers crossed*

Met my husband in 2014
Travelled for a year together in 2015/16
Just spent the last 6 months together in Manchester
Got hitched in Apr
Now I'm back in Canada doing the visa thing

Hope to be moving back to Manchester in a few weeks, and this time for good!!!

Welcome!  Processing in a Canada is usually a bit quicker than the US, so you are in luck.

Welcome! I'm also Canadian but living in the US at the moment. Everyone on here seems to be friendly and helpful, so you're in a good spot for support . Fingers crossed for a speedy answer on the visa.

Welcome!! You being from Canada isn't really an issue in regards to joining the forum I think it's more that it might be more difficult finding people who have dealt with your specific visa as I'm not sure if Canadian Visa is wildly different than American, but the rest will all be relevant

The system for processing varies from country to country but the visa is the same which ever country in the world you are applying from.
