Hi guys.
Just a quick one that I thought I would check with you lovely people since I've got a few weeks to wait to apply.
My husband/sponsor recently got a promotion and raise at his company. :-) It was effective as of June 1st and we apply July 18th. He has worked for his company under his original title since April 2014 at a salary above the required amount, so way past the six months needed.
On the form, I'm second guessing how to say all of this. We are including his payslips from the past six months of course (the last of which will be higher from the promotion), his original contract from 2014, his new contract, and a letter from his boss explaining the recent promotion.
I have already written an additional explanation for this circumstance. Just trying to suss out how to put it in the form. So far, here is what I am planning:
Section 7.3A
(i) yes
(ii) new promotion's job title
(iii)no
(iv)yes
(v)june 1st 2017
(vi) permanent
(vii)permanent
(viii)april 14th 2014 - May 31st 2017
(ix).........
(x) employer's name
(xi) employer's name (which is the same employer)
(xii)employer's contact details
(xiii) previous job title
(xiv)current salary
(xv)old salary
With this, the documents, and the explanation - does this all sound good? I was also wondering if we should include his latest P60? It doesn't say it in the requirements but I thought it would be a good idea.
Also - my husband has a freelance gig delivering lectures occasionally at a Uni. He only makes a couple hundred quid from it a year, and his actual job makes a good deal more than the current requirement - so I was wondering if I should still include it? I originally was not even going to mention it, but in going over the visa again I got stuck on this bit:
"If you or your sponsor have had more than one job, you must provide the full details for each job held and the specified evidence for each job."
He got a P60 from the uni, but does not receive a regular paycheck as he only gets paid if and when he lectures.
Like I've said in my last few posts, I've got 5 weeks till my appointment, so I'm just trying to fine-tune my application. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
