Just for the record, the worst things I have watched lately:

Movie: Independence Day remake
TV: Riverdale

I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC

Good Lord SOS, you've got too much time on your hands.  The original Independence Day was tough going, the remake must have been special.

I miss you Babe, and I don't want to miss a thing.

The original Independence Day was pretty good I think. Pre-CGI.

Besides we have Goldblum at his most Goldblumey (:32):

I have never seen "Dirty Dancing", the original. I don't know why I never watched it (I was 17 when it came out) especially since I'm partial to watching Patrick Swayze since he was a Texas native. Anyways, after reading all this discussion, I thought I would watch the remake since I have nothing to compare it to and be objective.

It was shite!

So, continue your bashing! Lol

OMG!  PLEASE watch the original!  As a Swayze fan, I promise you will LOVE it!

Neither have I.  Pretty sure I wouldn't like it, though... (pretty sure the dancing won't be dirty enough for me!  ;)  )

Riverdale is like a car crash. I don't particularly enjoy it, but I've felt I needed to watch the episodes once I started it.

Well, Lost has made me really suspicious of these things. I get the feeling after a while that nothing will ever be finalised....

I hate being reminded that Lost exists because it's on my list of things to watch but I have WAY too many things on that list and not enough time to watch them (especially a show with a ridiculous amount of seasons!)

I have never watched Lost either, and people always assume I have and I think I've heard way too many spoilers now for it to be worth it.

I've definitely heard spoilers (which I probably forget at this point) but I don't mind watching for myself, it's just finding the time! I'd rather watch something more relevant so I can see it *before* I get spoilers if I can LOL

That and I never know what shows my husband will want to watch!! We watch most of our shows together as we like the same stuff for the most part, but I have a few small shows/movies I watch when he's not around. When it comes to starting a new show to marathon, like Lost, my luck will be I'll start it and he'll be like "Why didn't you wait?!" Even when I ask him first if he minds and he says no, it's a 50-50 chance that he'll either hear me talk about it or catch a bit of it and think it sounds interesting and like something he wants to watch too but he never makes time to catch up to me so I end up in a holding limbo lol

There are still so many twists and turns. Any spoilers you have remembered won't ruin it. Lost was amazing!! I miss it

Just watched the Dirty Dancing recreation by Keith and Paddy.  PURE GOLD!  We loved it.  And Keith and Paddy have some serious chemistry.   ;D
