I went online to fill out my application last night.  I go for my biometric appointment on Wednesday, July 12.  There was a question about offenses.  I've read on here you do and you do not include traffic/speeding tickets.  I had gotten a few tickets many years ago - over 30 but have no idea of the date, etc.  Should I have listed them? If so is there a way to find out the dates, etc.? What if I have already submitted my application online - do I need to cancel it and start over?

Also there was a question about have you ever used the National Health.  We lived in London from 1988 - 1991 and I used it during that period but have no idea of the dates, location, phone numbers, etc.  I mentioned this in the comments, but there wasn't a lot of room to include info.

If anyone can let me know if I am missing any info to mail on Wednesday:

1) Completed printed application
2) 1 UK passport sized photo
3) Current and previous passport
4) Marriage certificate - original copy
5) Bank statements going back 1 year showing my husbands currently salary deposited into our account.  I will get these signed at my bank.
6) Letter showing husband's job offer in the UK with salary
7) Photo copy of husband's and daughter's passports (both have UK citizenship)
8) Husband's payslips for current job in the US
9) Sampling of joint US tax returns from 1997, 2002 and 2015
10) Completed Form Appendix 2 (VAF4A)
11) Letter from Mother in law stating that we can stay with her until we find a house to rent.

I will send priority on Wednesday, July 12th.  Do you count the working days from the date of your online application or date of receipt of materials in Sheffield.

This forum has been wonderful - thanks for all the help!

I think you're really light on relationship evidence, you're going to need to add to that. You also need proof that mil owns her property, you can get the land registry document online in most cases.

What other relationship evidence should I provide? We've been married 29 years and have never lived apart (other then a month when I moved to the US before he did).  I was also going to include a few family pictures with the 3 of us.

Thanks!

We recently had a member, married 20 years, who was refused for not sending sufficient relationship evidence.

You don't need the whole tax return, just send the cover page which shows you filing jointly, this saves bulking up the application.
Other ideas. Anything in joint names or naming the other. So utility bills, bank statements, credit card statements. Insurance policies; property, health, life, car. Membership; gym, AAA etc. Wills. Property ownership documents, leases.
Letters and cards which you have sent each other.

You should also address the length of the relationship and the fact that you have lived together the whole time in the sponsor letter.

You need to cover the whole length of the marriage.

Do send the photos they are mandatory.

Thanks for the feedback.  I will send some bills, mortgage info and insurance policies, and Homeowner's association info.  I think most of our utility bills and credit cards are in one of our names (some in mine, others under his name).  Will I need to send samples of these from different time periods? Thanks!

Yes, I'd send one piece for every year or two spread over the 29 years.
Ideally you should stick with things that are in both names but if you are really struggling then you could use things with individual names to the same address.

To note on the photos - they are only required to show you have met in person at least once(!), so you don't need many. Also, normally only you and your spouse should be in them.

I'd send one photo from your wedding and one more recent one (or you could send 3 maybe - one from the wedding, one from maybe 15 years ago, one recent).
