Question about in person appointment
« on: July 25, 2017, 06:53:54 PM »
I hope I'm just being really slow but I have a question about applying in-person:

I followed the link to schedule my appointment, paid, and then was told to print out the application form FLR(M) (I did not start an online application first).
Does this mean I have to fill it out by hand and bring it to the centre rather than applying online and printing it off? The last time I applied from outside the UK and completed an online application that I then mailed to the UK.

Any help would be amazing!!!

Yes, if you've already booked the appointment then you need to use the paper form to apply.

However, we recommend using the paper form anyway because
a) the online form is new and has some glitches
b) we can actually see the paper form so we're better equipped to help you fill it out
c) some of the questions are different/more confusing on the online form

Hi ggm007, Yes, you do have to complete the paper form but as ksand mentioned, that's a good thing.  :)
