LIST OF DOCS
« on: August 08, 2017, 01:13:59 PM »
Hi,

I am really starting to panic because I think I have screwed up by taking things too lightly.  I didn't discover this website until after we applied and I just assume that because we have been married and lived together for 17 years things would be ok.  How stupid am I.

This is the list of what we send.  The application form, passport, priority and health charge are sent by the Tel-Avi office:

-English test

-Sponsor letter - saying that want to move back to UK to be near by elderly parents
-Notarized copy of marriage certificate, with certified translation into english
-Notarized copy of children's birth certificates, with english translation which was certified
-copies of children's Israeli and English passports
-Original municipality tax bill, showing we live at the same address, with certified english translation
copy of my english passport
-notarized copy of my Israeli passport to show that I sometimes use my married name in Israel

-Confirmation of Account ownership, it is in both our names, stamped and signed by bank
-Account Balance stamped and signed by bank
-Savings Account stamped and signed by bank - to show that amount 3 times requirement was put into savings account on 14.6.17
-Current account statement dated July 9, 2017 stamped and signed by bank showing that the savings were moved into our current account. This was  a couple of days after the application was submitted but before bio appointment. stamped and signed by bank
-Letter signed by husbands father confirming that he gave us the the monetary gift on 14.6.16 and he doesn't want it back
-another savings account showing that money was deposited in 20.10.15 and that this money is savings from our salary - stamped and signed by bank
-Current account statement dated June 20, 2017 stamped and signed by bank showing the savings were moved to our current account
- 6 months bank statement, all pages signed and stamped by bank showing our financial history

-Letter from my parents, naming all of us, and giving us permission to stay indefinitely at their address
-3 bills showing my parents names and their address
-Land registry of their address.

The reason I didn't send original copies is because they asked for stamped self address envelope and there was no way to do this.  At the Bio appointment they told us only to send photocopies and when I call the help line, obviously they were useless.  I explained this in my covering letter.

So there you have it.

The longer I wait, the less I hope I have. I don't think my husbands new place of work will hold on beyond November and if he gets rejected, his english language test expires on 5.10.17.

Thank you for letting me write all this down, I does help.

Mel

Sounds like you sent everything you needed to... in fact you may have actually sent more than you needed to.

You didn't actually need to send any birth certificates or your childrens' passports, or your Israeli passport.

You didn't need to send any bills from your parents either.

However, those won't affect the outcome of the visa.

The only thing that might be slightly lacking is evidence of living together since you got married.
