Dirty Dancing

I find Dirty Dancing is one of those movies that if you see it's on, you MUST stop and watch!

I don't think I've ever seen it all the from start to finish. Same with Footloose.

I broke down and watched "Dirty Dancing" yesterday. I am so sorry but I fell asleep! I woke up near the end to hear my husband singing, "She's Like the Wind" during the end credits.

I've never seen "Footloose" either...

There's been all this stuff on the telly recently about the film Dirty Dancing... not sure what it's all in aid of; probably a big anniversary or something.  But having never seen the film, I've only just realised from all the trailers and stuff...

THE WOMAN IN DIRTY DANCING IS FERRIS BUELLER'S SISTER, JEANNIE!!   

I always loved the bit in Ferris Bueller, where Jennifer Grey tells Charlie Sheen (in the police station at the end of the film), "my name is Jeannie but everyone calls me Shawnna" (probably not spelled that way, hahaha) and the background soundtrack goes "Shawnna, Shawnna, Shawnna"! It was one of the first times I'd ever heard MY name used in a movie!
