Happy to hear that they are safe! Hopefully when they get to survey the damage, it's not too bad. Hoping their electricity is back sooner rather than later!

Last word a few hours ago was they had lost power, but all okay otherwise.  They are boarded in, so won't be able to assess damage until the storm passes and day breaks.

The storm came inland early and lost a lot of power, so was MUCH weaker than anticipated when it got to them.  I think they'll be fine but without power and water for sometime.

I do hope that this makes my mom realise it isn't ALL hype!  ::)

Have the got power back yet? My Dad and brother (in Palm Harbor) and two aunts in Clearwater are all still without it as of this morning :-/ I know they're doing the best they can to get it all restored though. Most importantly, everyone was safe.

I'll check in again this evening. I think they are sick of me asking, haha! But I worry about my dad so I'll keep asking! :)

I don't think they are sick of you asking, can't stop you from worrying & caring. Hope all is well as it can be with the family.
