Hi,

would like to know if it would be standard USPS service to mail documents for the visa application to the UK then just the return postage through vfsglobal at $141?
Met Wife online - December 2015
Met my wife in December 2016
Married in January 2017
Application Started 17/12/2017
IHS & Visa paid 21/12/2017
Biometrics Appointment 29/12/2017
All documents received and entry permit issued 22/03/2018
Flight Booked 27/03/2018
Wife Arrived in UK 16/04/2018
Collected BRP 20/04/2018

I would NEVER advise using USPS to mail important visa documents under ANY circumstances. USPS are not particularly secure, the package cannot be tracked properly and there's a good chance the documents will get held up at customs, possibly for several weeks, and they may never arrive in Sheffield at all.

I would ONLY use UPS, DHL or FedEx to mail the documents to Sheffield, and then you can purchase the $141 VFS Global label for shipping back to the US.

Alternatively, you could purchase both shipping labels from VFS Global for $227, as they are just 2-day UPS shipping anyway, and it'll likely cost you a similar amount to ship it to Sheffield yourself using a courier anyway.

ok thank you, that's good to know, guess i'll have to see if i can get some money to do that before the appointment next week

ok, i have another question regarding postage, my wife can only get mail to her mailbox with UPS but problem is, the address has "250-263" but can't use - how would i go about this? as she can't have mail direct to the apartment of where she's staying
