Lapsed Spousal Visa- Renew in UK or Apply from USA?

Hello! I am in getting ready to start the process of renewing my lapsed spousal visa. We moved to UK in 2014- Sheffield LOST my Spousal Visa for two months at the beginning of 2014. We moved back to America Oct' 2016 and my UK Visa lapsed in Feb 2017. We are now looking at returning to UK at the beginning of 2018.

Does anybody have experience renewing a lapsed spousal visa? Our last immigration solicitor was total rubbish and would like to avoid going back down that route!!!

You'll need to start from scratch and apply for entry clearance as a spouse again.

Hi baitubb!  Yes, as KFdancer said, it'll be a whole new application for a spouse visa which you'll make from the US.
No need to use your solicitor again, we'll help you this time!
