FLRM- After Fiancee Visa Application Process
« on: October 29, 2017, 08:40:24 PM »
Hey all,

I'm in the UK on a fiancee visa (expires March 2018) and getting married this upcoming December. I'm planning on applying in-person with the premium service in Sheffield shortly after the marriage ceremony, but just wanted to make sure I understood the process correctly...

Documents that we think are needed:
- application
- appendix form
- pasport photo
- six months of spouse's paystubs and bank statements
- letter of employment (spouse)
- Council Tax Bill
- mortgage statement
- wedding certificate
- Land Registry Docs
- proof of relationship --> are a few pictures needed?
- letter of intent --> needed?
- letter of sponsorship --> needed?
- can we bring our passports with us (instead of providing certified copies) since we're applying in-person?

What are the documents that we need to get certified (if any)?

Thank you!

- application
- appendix form

There is no Appendix form for this visa.

You just need the FLR(M) application form:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/application-to-extend-stay-in-the-uk-as-a-partner-form-flrm

- pasport photo

You need 2 passport photos of you with your full name on the back and 1 passport photo of your sponsor with their full name on the back

- proof of relationship --> are a few pictures needed?
- letter of intent --> needed?
- letter of sponsorship --> needed?

No pictures are needed as you will both be there in person.

Your relationship evidence is:
- your 6 documents addressed to both of you at the same address spread evenly over the time since you entered the UK

You have to bring all your passports with you anyway.

Normally the sponsor submits a full non-certified photocopy of every single page of his passport, but as you are going in person, I assume his actual passport is all they need.

All your documents must be original or certified, so if any of your documents are not original (i.e. bank statements printed from online banking or electronic payslips) they must be certified.
