When passports are delivered UPS tomorrow...

Do I need to sign for them? My husband and I are going to my friends house tonight so we can open together. UPS is famous in my area for ringing and running and barely give you time to open the door. Don’t want to miss them!!!

You are supposed to have to sign for them, but many people have found the package has just been left on their doorstep by UPS!

Mostly it seems, they just leave them on the doorstep.

Is it generally an option to arrange to pick the package up at a UPS service center?  I was able to do that recently with a DHL delivery, just not sure how it works with UPS.  Otherwise I'll just take the day off when delivery is due, not going to risk it getting delayed or some punk kid stealing it off my doorstep

I think some people have managed to do that. You should give them a call.
