Drivers licence

Sorry another question,  i have my drivers license (CDN) i understand i can get my british license, there is a fee..I want to keep my Canadian version, it does not expire till 2023..is this possible.

You can only legally drive in the UK on your Canadian licence for the first 12 months of your residency.

As I believe your residency started on the date you first moved to the UK on your spousal visa (2016), you can no longer legally drive in the UK on your Canadian licence.

So, if you want to be able to drive in the U.K. you must exchange your Canadian licence for a U.K. licence:
