Yes. My daughter works in downtown Wake Forest. That's where we spend most of our time. But I don't know where the Tastee Freeze used to be. I'm a transplant.

There's an ice cream place there still, it's not a chain.
I learned to ride my bike in the seminary across the tracks from downtown.  My grandmothers house is on main Street, next to the funny office building called "The Corner"

There was an ice cream place called Scoops on Main but they moved to Youngsville the middle of last year.  I think that's the one you are thinking of. There is a cakery there now.

The only other ice cream place is in Downtown by the Hardees.
