2.1 Where do you and your sponsor plan to live in the UK?
- this is the address of the family friend, correct? The one that is writing the letter of accommodation for us, not his rental situation? If you are going to stay there at first, yes.
2.2 Does your sponsor own this property? If no, on what basis does your sponsor occupy this property.
- My sponsor/partner doesn't currently occupy the property, so not sure how to answer the second part. Say something like, this is the home of a family friend who will be accommodating us when my wife arrives, until we make other arrangements.
2.3 Does your sponsor live in a council owned property?
- No
2.4 Is your sponsor in receipt of Housing Benefit?
- No
2.5 How many bedrooms are there in the property?
- four (4)
2.6 How many other rooms are there in the property?
- two (2), six (6) rooms altogether
2.7 Does anyone, other than sponsor, live in the property?
- Yes. Family friend and her partner. The form asks for their relationship to partner (family friend) and passport numbers. Can I leave the part about passport numbers blank? It's a weird question to ask. Not having the passport numbers won't make a difference to the outcome but I would ask them anyway, they might not mind.
2.8 Do you intend to work in the UK?
- Yes, I will look for work after my Visa is granted. That's fine.
And remember, you can always explain the living situation in the sponsor letter.
That where he lives is not suitable for you to move in to so you have made the arrangement with the family friend until you find your own place.
