Salary payment method

I’ve just noticed that my pay slips state I’m paid via BACS, yet the corresponding payments on my bank statements show these as bank giro credits.

I’ve no idea why this is, and as I’ve already applied it’s too late to clarify this by means of the employer letter etc.

Has anyone any experience on this type of discrepancy and whether it matters?

So long as the amount of the payslip corresponds to the amount deposited on the bank statement, you are fine.  They will also check records with HMRC that things match.

You are overthinking things.  Step away from the visa.     Easier said than done, right?
