Spouse Visa Question
« on: July 13, 2018, 05:22:11 PM »
Hi all,

My husband and I filed a spouse visa application in April and we are just waiting to hear back. I was denied entry into the UK in March of 2015, I was going to visit my husband for the summer and did not have a return ticket book. We previously applied for a visit visa to come to the UK to marry and were refused. They stated that we did not have concrete evidence showing that we planned to marry nor did we show enough financial evidence. We were just very uneducated about how the whole process worked.

We then married in the United States In March of 2017 and immediately began working towards applying for the spousal visa. We meet the financial requirements and I believe we submitted all the required evidences. I'm just nervous that my being denied entry and our visit visa being refused will cause our application to be denied.

Does anyone have any experience with a situation like this or any tips? We would greatly appreciate it.

As long as you have sent all the specified evidence of meeting the requirements, you'll get the visa. The refusals may slow it down a little but no more than that.
