Has anybody had this problem before - my Registered Traveler is up for renewal on October 20th but I doubt I will know if my visa is approved until after that. There's an option to change it from a General Visitor visa to I'm a Family Member/Spouse. I don't want to change that until I know for certain that I got that visa so if I miss that date, does anybody know if I'll just have to reapply and pay a new fee? If I just keep it as a General Visitor visa, I imagine I could get in trouble, yes?

Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to give me!

We don't have many people who have enrolled in the registered traveler programme and have shared their experiences with it.  I can't see the form unless I'm applying or have a reference to renew.  When you select the Family Member / Spouse option, is that just for trip information purposes or does that lead to a page wanting visa information (presumably for a spouse or partner visa)?  I'm wondering if you select that option, will you then be required to submit your visa details - in which case, you'll have to renew now as a general visitor and change your immigration details later when you get your visa.
