ILR Timeline

Hello All !

Just sitting here waiting as patiently as possible for any word about my ILR status...

At some point I saw a post which had the timeline on us but I can’t seem to find it anymore. 

I’m mostly curious about when to expect the request for my biometrics.  I submitted the application on the 14th and they had taken the payment by the 17th so I would have expected to get the request by now. 

Anyone have any info/experience in how Lon the request usually takes?

Last time I had it done (2.5 years ago) was at the Premium Service Centre in Croydon so is it possible they won’t ask for them again???

I know the application can take up to 6 months so I’m chill about that. But curious / worried about the biometric request.

You will have to re-do your biometrics.

The request should be with you any time now. It will come by post.

I completely understand. You'll feel much better once you've done biometrics, then you can just forget about the whole thing until the visa arrives! 

Is there a point at which I should get worried about not receiving the request for biometrics yet?   Or a way to check if they’ve requested it but the letter got lost in the mail?  I suppose the anxiety is beginning to creep in...

I think it's just a little too soon to worry yet but if you haven't received anything by, say, the end of next week, you could always write to them to let them know you have not received your letter.

If you need to contact us after you have applied, please do so as follows.
To send us more information about your application, write to the following address (not the one to which you posted your application):

and give the following details in your letter:
- the applicant’s full name, date of birth and nationality
- any Recorded or Special Delivery number
- the date on which the application was posted or made in person
- the UK Visas & Immigration reference number if you have one.

Awesome!   Now tie idea is to relax and forget all about it until you are surprised one day by your approval letter!
