hello - I'm writing with a question about the documents required for an ILR application from a Tier 2 visa. I've been poring over the message board and really appreciate all the advice! I have a premium appointment in September and am getting all the documents together. It seems as though the application is not very complicated, which is making me nervous!
I have a straightforward application - 5 years on a Tier 2 visa with one employer in a job that meets the salary requirements, no dependents, no excessive absences, no criminal convictions (!). In addition to the standard documents such as my passport, BRP, photographs, and Life in the UK pass certificate, this is what I think I need:
- letter from my employer certifying my ongoing employment with SIC code etc;
- list of all absences from the UK, with employer certification of dates;
- 3 months of bank statements
- 3 months of payslips
Can this be correct? I'm a bit spooked by the process, especially after all the news stories this spring about Tier 1 and 2 applicants being denied over minor tax issues. Many thanks in advance for any advice!
