Hello everyone! It's me again, back because I'm anxious because I still haven't received any communication about doing my biometrics.

Summary of timeline:
Receipt of the application making it to Durham, 20 August
1 September (I think) received a letter dated 30 August, communicating that my application had been received and barring circumstances 'out of their control' my application would be decided within 8 weeks of them receiving it.

I've had no other communication or correspondence.

Try not to worry, it seems to be taking a little longer at the moment. It may take a few more days.

Thank you. The 10th was the "expiration date" listed on my biometrics card, which I think has subconsciously spiked my anxiety about the whole thing a bit.

Your application date is taken as the postmarked date on your package... so as long as UKVI received your application package before the 10th, you’re fine :).
