BRP letter
« on: September 05, 2018, 05:33:17 PM »
What does the BRP letter look like or say? The only thing they sent back with my documents (besides the vignette) was two pieces of paper telling me what to do if I am under 18 and what the difference is between standard and non standard. I’ve attached photos. Is this the BRP letter that I have to take with me to pick up my BRP? It doesn’t say when it will be available.

Not sure what it actually looks like, but the BRP letter should state what date you can pick up your BRP, and the address of the Post Office where it will be held (so you know where to pick it up).

It should also state that you need to carry the letter with you when you go through immigration on arriving in the U.K.

Will not having that be a problem? Should I contact someone?

Are those the only 2 pages they sent? Because it looks like only half of a letter there... like there should be another page explaining that the visa has been granted and how to pick up the BRP if you are over 18.

I haven’t seen the letter before myself, but my first reaction on reading the pages you attached was:

Where’s the rest of it?

Haha so it was stuck to the inside of the shipping envelope. Lol I’m so sorry I just didn’t see it anywhere and only found it when I went to search all the documents again. Thank you for your replies though!!!

not with a spousal visa. You'll have to call the number on that letter to apply! It says that the NI# might be on the BRP but that's for work visas.
