Visa Processing Time page - glitch??
« on: September 12, 2018, 07:28:34 PM »
So, I was just checking on the visa processing time page on the gov.uk website to see if there had been any updates on the times. It looks like they've changed it to specific cities and locations with nowhere in the US to be found on the drop-down menu. Am I looking in the right place?? Take a look!

How strange! It was there yesterday. It hadn’t been updated since May processing times for sometime

I just happened to look at it today hoping it would give me some new wisdom or comfort and I couldn't find US. So, now I'm perplexed. What are they up to??

They’ve always had it as cities and countries, so that has not changed. The US is just down as the US though as you don’t apply in a certain city.

However, just checking the processing times for another country, looks like they have now got the August statistics up, so my best guess is that they are in the middle of updating them and the reason the US isn’t there at the moment is because they haven’t got the USA August times up quite yet.

Ah, ok. I see. Thank you for clarifying. I guess I never quite paid close attention to how other places were listed. Just zoom straight to the US.

This is just me being extra paranoid, panicky, and anxious. It's all starting to get to me a bit.  :\\\'(

I wouldn’t worry about it to be honest - the August processing times are already out of date anyway, so they won’t be much help to you.

They are for decisions MADE in August, so they will only be relevant to people who actually got their visas issued during August.... many of whom will likely have applied a few months before you.

True that. I think I'm just at the point of looking for anything to give me hope and get me through each day. And hoping that I won't have an excruciatingly long wait like others have, sadly.
