Naturalization - proof of NI
« on: September 24, 2018, 10:52:21 PM »
Hi all,

My ILR was granted last week (woohoo!) and I'm already keen to get started on naturalization. I believe I'm already eligible as I'm the spouse of a British citizen and have lived here 5 years. I've booked an NDRS appointment in a few weeks with the local council here and plan to do an NDRS + JCAP application.

I was curious about the requirement to show HMRC contributions. What can I submit to prove this? I have P60s from 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 and could probably dig out a P45 from my previous job. I logged on to the HMRC personal tax account website, but I didn't see anything "printable" there. I guess I could just print out a copy of the web page?

Thanks so much to everyone on this forum, by the way--even though I didn't make a doc-check post specifically about my ILR application, I'd been searching the forums for a while to make sure I had everything squared away!
