We kept hearing of reports around us but we're on the coast so just a bit of hail and sleet so far.

And some beautiful rainbows  :D

Cold only, here. It was below zero (according to my stick-on thermometer ) this morning when I got up. We walked a few miles to the farmer's market - brisk, but not unpleasant. Sky was clear as a bell. If there had been more than a slight breeze it would have been brutal, but it was pretty still.

We saw Gritty McVittie on the road last night so we were wondering what the weather was going to be doing, but no rain or anything here at all.

Yeah, there was frost on the roofs of the houses nearby and the grass was white here. It still looks a tad on the brisk side out there - hopefully above freezing as I have a driving lesson today and do not want to practice dealing with skids.
