FLR(M) Documents/Proofs Checklist

Passport and BRP cards for me and my dependent applying with me.
Full copy of my husband's (sponsor) passport, including any blank pages.
Birth certificates for me, dependent applying
Long form birth certificate for non-applying dependent (British born toddler)
6 bank statements showing benefits for exemption as well as savings
6 pieces of mail addressed to me
6 pieces of mail addressed to husband (wondering if I can do 3 pieces individual each and 3 joint?)
1 piece of mail within the last 3 months addressed to applying dependent
1 piece of mail within the last 3 months addressed to non-applying dependent
marriage certificate
IHS reciept printed from email with reference number
Passport photos: 2 each for me and applying child, 1 for sponsor.
Current Lease in both sponsor's and my name.

Is there anything I'm missing? Planning to mail out in a few more days.

How are you meeting the financial requirements? I don't see that in your list right now.

My husband is exempt due to his disability and benefits he collects.
Proof of the benefits being paid into his account every month are on the bank statements.
Proof of the award of benefits, ie letters from DWP, I can include if I need them.

That was all we needed for the first visa, so that is what I have. The statements also will show our savings.

You don't need your birth certificate, because your passport is your proof of ID.

You DO need your childrens' birth certificates though, to prove how they are related to you, along with their passports and the letters showing their address.

For the documents addressed to you and your husband, you just need 6 with each name on, so they can be a mixture of joint and separate.

So, you could use:
- 3 joint documents addressed to both of you
- 6 separately addressed documents (3 in each name)

Can you post the dates and type of each of the documents addressed to you, just to check that they meet the requirements?

Just going to rearrange your documents into the correct order for the package, just to make sure you have everything:

Applicant Documents:
- FLR(M) online application forms for you and your dependant child
- IHS surcharge receipt
- Your passport and BRP card
- Your dependant child's US passport and BRP card
- 2 passport photos of you with your name on the back
- 2 passport photos of your dependant child with their name on the back

Sponsor's documents:
- full copy of every page of his UK passport
- 1 passport photo with his name on the back

Childrens' Documents:
- Your UK-born child's UK passport
- UK-born child's birth certificate
- US-born child's birth certificate
- Letters showing both childrens' address

Financial Documents:
- official letter(s) from the relevant government department(s) confirming his eligibility for the benefits, and the benefit amounts being paid to him
- 6 FULL MONTHS of bank statements showing benefits for exemption as well as savings (this may be 7 bank statements, not 6)
- evidence of any income you or your sponsor have, other than the benefits

Accommodation Documents:
- Current Lease in both sponsor's and your name.

Relationship Documents:
- Marriage certificate
- Any divorce decrees from previous relationships
- 1 photo of you and your sponsor together
- 6 pieces of mail in each name, from at least 3 different sources, spread evenly over the last 2 years

I'll have to get all the dates on the letters tomorrow. Thank you for the list though. I think I have everything sorted, but I'll post again tomorrow after I double check.
