Delicate subject, need non-judgemental advice
« on: November 12, 2018, 01:41:48 PM »
Ok so I have a very delicate situation that is regarding entry clearance of a valid visa holder who has committed a crime in the US and would like to re-enter the UK. If there is someone with a good grasp of the rules/laws, could you please pm me? I am also looking for a lawyer/immigration adviser to talk with them about the situation.

Do immigration lawyers ever give free first consultations? Right now I just mostly need to know if entry will be granted given the full circumstances.

Moved to the UK April 2006
Married March 2007
Moved to the U.S. June 2009

Husband accepted new job in UK April 2016
Returning to UK Aug/Sept 2016!

Moved from UK-Germany 2022

If a misdemeanor, speak with Medivisas (Victoria Sharkey).

If a felony, contact Laura Devine (it's a whole agency).

Neither will be free consultations.  Laura Devine will be more expensive than Medivisas, but more equipped to handle something severe.

There are Home Office staff on www.immigrationboards.com and I've seen them give general advice on crimes.
If you want more help than that, you will need to pay for it.
