Question about in-person FLR (M) appointment

Hi, everyone!

I have looked all over for a definitive answer on this, however, I have not been able to find anything relating to my specific question.

My partner and I will be applying for my FLR (M) visa this week and we are hoping to use the in-person option. We were wondering if we would be able to book our appointmet first before we complete the online application? Or do we have to do this all in one go?


Any advice would be much appreciated!

Unfortunately, in order to book the appointment, you must first fill out and submit the online form... when you do this, you will be prompted to pay the IHS surcharge, pay the visa fee and book the appointment.

In person appointments are stopping at the end of this month and a new service is being rolled out.  If you can snag a cancelled appointment before the end of the month - try to.  Otherwise we’ll have to see how the new service rolls out.
