Supporting Docs Info Letter
« on: November 19, 2018, 06:54:51 PM »
Just completed biometrics and this is the letter they gave me. Just FYI for all those gathering their docs. I for one am relieved to finally have more definitive information!

Thanks so much for a scan of the letter.  Nice to see it all in writing.

Personally, I'm surprised that they want photocopies of supporting documents now instead of originals.  I guess any suspicions of tampering could be sorted out with contact to the issuing institution, and I guess it would address the occasional problem of applicants not getting all their originals back.  Plus, if Sheffield is only getting scans of documents anyway, it's not like they would have the original document to hand to inspect themselves.  Maybe there was a bit of me thinking the staff at the NY scanning hub would have been trained to detect potential document alterations before scanning them.

But regardless, thanks again for providing this.  :)  Solid evidence.

Yes, thanks for sharing that!

The order of supporting documents is way different from what I've seen others do  ???  That's interesting.

Yes - I think I’ll just stick with the order the experts have given  all along.
