Time to post documents

Hi all,
How long do you have to post your documents after submitting the FLR(m) application?

I’m wondering if I might be able to get under the wire with the IHS increase as they haven’t actually put t up just yet. I’m flying home to New York for Christmas so can’t post my passport just yet. But If I were to submit my application on say the 23rd and post my documents when I’m back in the UK on the 31st would that be soon enough?

On a somewhat related note am I correct that the most recent payslip is the last before the application date? (So even though I’d have my December payslip after submitting but before posting documents, I’d still use November as the most recent right?)

If you pay for the application prior to the date of the increase but mail it after the increase, they will contact you to pay the difference.  This happened to a friend. 

It is suspected the date of the increase will be December 18th as this is 21 days after Parliament approved the increase but the date has yet to be announced.

You have 15 days after applying to submit tour documents and for biometrics to be taken.
