Goodbye
« on: January 03, 2005, 09:35:06 PM »
Sorry, just saw a page full of "hi..." topics and didn't want to add another one. "Goodbye" is as creative as I could get :P  I signed up a couple of weeks ago, and have recently gained access to the "pettifog" forum, where I read a heated debate in which a rather hostile newcomer was encouraged repeatedly to post in the Welcome Wagon so that he or she could be welcomed to the site properly. So I thought I'd better post here so as not to offend anyone in the future!

I did BUNAC last year and moved to the UK permanently last summer to get married. Living in England has been a lifelong dream of mine (why I don't know..), but reality of course is much different. I'm still in that awkward stage that makes every day difficult to cope with. That's why I ended up on this website.

I'm the quiet type, so I'll probably be lurking around alot, seeing what other people have to say, but might not post much.  I'm like Mister Ed: i never speak unless I have something to say :P

Anywho, you all seem reasonably nice from what I've read so far, and I look forward to doing business with you!

Welcome! I saw the title of this thread and thought, "Oh no!  Why is someone leaving!?"  So I'm glad that's not the case.
