Been catching up on Tiny House Nation on Netflix. I am always flummoxed by all of it, but I guess it does work for some.
How exactly are they more environmentally friendly if you need a gigantic diesel truck to haul it around?
Also, I would think you'd have to constantly be cleaning, stuff would wear out quickly, you'd have like 6 outfits that constantly need replacing and wear out, and because it's always bloody raining, would be hard to escape from my husband. LOL. And what do people do who actually enjoy cooking and have kitchen gadgets?
I do like my space and I'm a sentimental soul who likes 'things' (especially old things and useful things like garden tools- I am not a consumer of cheap goods for the sake of it). and like where would I store all my musical instruments, record albums, brewing gear, kitchen gear and have places for the guinea pigs and chickens. Nah! That said, I love all the clever storage solutions! I need to adopt more of them, because I love my stuff, but my husband hates clutter!
Anyways, seems to have found it's way into the UK. But man, we already struggle with minimum living space requirements in the UK (being the amongst the smallest in Europe, though Scotland is slightly better than England) and I could see where this could actually be a disadvantage to increasing these requirements. And oh, I can't imagine trying to pull one on the roads around here.
