So Who's finished? (Non spoiler)
« on: July 18, 2005, 02:42:50 PM »
I finished this morning.

I'm not sure how I feel.  In some ways it was better than the others, in other ways it felt like it was just marking time.  I don't have that thrill of "Can't wait for the next one" the way I did immediately upon finishing OOP.  I think the pace of this one was much slower-at times I found myself wondering if anything was really going to happen.  It took ages for the questions set up at the beginning to be answered, didn't it?

Still, I enjoyed it, and there were some things in there that thrilled me, and some very exciting parts too.  A few shocks, but nothing I hadn't kind of suspected.

Anyone else want to post a spoiler-free review?  Then we'll start a new thread to discuss it with spoilers.

I finished it late Saturday night.  I must say in every series of books there is the one that kind of fills in all of the blanks.  It wasn't as thrilling as the last few, but that means that they won't have to slow down and explain everything in the next one.  It will be all action all the time.  :)

PS How long should we wait to talk in more detaill ?????????????????

Enjoyed it immensely.

Very very good.  8)

Looking forward to the final Part.

What will Harry do now, he doesn't seem ready. (is that non spoiler enough?)

Kel.

Finished at 1AM.  Toddler does NOT allow Mummy to read.

Very, very good.  Await next installment eagerly.

Wanted to gush, but work colleague is still reading and it would be a travesty to give an iota of detail away.
